I love the art of Toulouse Lautrec, Graphic 45 paper and Jimbo Lojik stamps, so when I saw this Graphic 45 paper, I knew I had to create something using KellyCraft's Jimbo Lojik stamps. I was showing my cousin how to make prints using Distress Inks, water and a protective mat, so this design came together very quickly. Here's how I did it. Supplies Jimbo Lojik Stamps (Set H) Graphic 45 8" x 8" paper slab (Typography) Black card stock, 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" folded to 6 1/2"  x 4 1/4" White card stock ,  8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Green card stock scrap Distress Inks, Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Broken China (Tim Holtz for Ranger, Inc.) Protective mat Water spritzer Crafter's Tape double-stick adhesive Black permanent marker (Sharpie) Instructions Pat Distress Inks directly onto protective mat. Spritz the colors with water and press the white card stock onto the inks. If you have any bare areas, just add more ink

If you’re ever at a loss for a quick little gift, this is the perfect solution. I found the sweet little bottle of coleslaw dressing in the refrigerator section at WalMart while shopping for supplies for our family reunion this past weekend. My original intent was to etch the glass bottle, but when I found these beautiful metallic swirls at WalMart as well, I fell in love. Welcome to the Designer Crafts Connection Blog Hop featuring products from Oly-Fun fabric. I had never used this product before, but now I am in love. It cuts beautifully with no fraying, is light-weight and comes in a great variety of colors. No need to stitch it on my sometimes-it-works-sometimes-it-doesn't sewing machine. I just used my old stand-by, Beacon FabriTak to put this together in an afternoon. Here's how I did it: Supplies Oly-Fun Fabric Purple, 23" x 36" Yellow, 1/2 yard White, 1/2 yard Green, 1/4 yard Ribbon, 48" (Offray) Fabric Adhesive (Beacon Fabri-Tak) Vive Décor Pearl Pens, Sunny Yellow, Gold, White Scissors, paper for pattern Note: If your flag will be visible from both sides, you will need to double the amount of yellow and white fabric. Welcome to another Designer Crafts Connection blog hop featuring Ann Butler's Background Basics Stamps and her line of Colorbox Crafter's Inks, all from Clearsnap. I have had several of Ann's stamp designs, including my all-time favorite alphabet, and a selection of her bright ink colors for a couple of years, but when I received her newest stamps and colors, I developed a new-found appreciation for her products. Not only are the stamps red rubber on a firm foam cushion, but the ink pads are juicy, juicy, juicy. I think I'm in love! I've been wanting custom garden flag for a long time, but never got around to making one. I have this beautiful mail box and address holder that my sweet friend Donna Lee gave us for Christmas a few years ago, but our driveway is long, and our mailbox is in my neighbor's yard across the street.
